EBV Lighting Academy - Join the conference!

Experience the future lighting trends today

This year’s EBV Lighting Academy will take place on June 20th and 21st in the prestigious Humboldt Carré in Berlin.

On the first day, the Design Day, we have sessions about high-end retail lighting, architectural and residential lighting presented by the world’s largest luxury goods company group LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) and renowned lighting design studios “Arup” and “Metis Lighting”. Prof. Wout van Bommel, one of the leading roadway lighting specialists in the world, will talk about Visual Performance, Light Quality Parameters and CIE recommendations in that space.

During the 2nd day, the Technology Day, the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany will give a glimpse into the future of SSL (Tailored Light Applications in the Nanoscale) and the Lighting Research Center, Troy, NY, USA will figure out “Flicker Parameters for Reducing Stroboscopic Effects from Solid-State Lighting Systems”. Well-acknowledged research institutes Fraunhofer IOF and IPMS will present the latest developments in micro-optics and LiFi, Nordic Power Converters will cover Electronics Design developments with “Very High Frequency LED Drivers”, complemented by Mentor Graphics with Computational Fluid Design.
