Panasonic Industry PAN1780AT Bluetooth® 5.0 Low Energy module

The PAN1780AT Bluetooth® 5 low energy module is based on the Nordic nRF52840 single-chip controller. The Bluetooth® 5 features enable a higher symbol rate of 2Mbps using the high-speed LE 2M PHY. Furthermore, the LE advertising extensions allow for much larger amounts of data to be broadcasted in connectionless scenarios. The PAN1780AT comes with AT command stack by BlueRadios.

  • Bluetooth 5.0 support – 2Mbps and long range PHY support, extended advertising packets, LE secure connections pairing
  • Up to 8dBm output power now supported
  • BlueRadios serial port throughput up to 50kBps
  • Single mode modules can now be connected to 5 devices simultaneously (1 as a peripheral and 4 as a central).
  • Configurable MTU up to 247 bytes.
  • USB and NFC support.
  • Dedicated over the air Firwmare Update (DFU) service. Firmware updates no longer done through BlueRadios serial port service
