Bel Magnetic Solutions’ Automotive Ethernet ICM’s allow customers to
upgrade existing CAN bus signaling with Ethernet signaling and cabling
styles for features like driver-assist radar, infotainment, cameras and
programable lighting.

Ethernet is both faster in transmission speed and lighter in cable weight –
driving the current trend of innovation and cost reductions in next generation
vehicles. Bel’s Automotive Ethernet ICM’s are the first SAE/USCAR2-6
compatible products in production – offering an operating temperature
range up to 100°, along with vibration withstand and sealing requirements.

The automotive industry is moving swiftly to incorporate Ethernet signals
and cabling to replace existing CAN bus signaling used today. Ethernet
is faster in transmission speed and lighter in cable weight. The RJ45
connector offers a proven, reliable connectivity alternative to meet the
transportation industry’s increasing requirements. Stewart Connector’s
automotive grade passive RJ45 connectors are compatible with vibration
and sealing requirements necessary to comply with SAE/USCAR2-6
standards.

PTC (AEC-Q)

Resettable PTCs Fuses are Bel's unique polymer formulation PTC (positive temperature coefficient) devices offer superior circuit protection, with added resettable feature, in traditional radial lead and SMD Chip packages. Similar to our extensive line of traditional fuse products, our resettable fuses protect against harmful overcurrent and short circuit conditions. However, our PTC devices can also be used to protect against over temperature conditions not necessarily caused by excessive current.

Battery Strap PTC Resettable Fuses are unique as they are intended to be resistance spot welded to battery cells or to pack interconnect straps. Used in variety of applications such as battery packs for mobile phones, computers, cordless phone, mobile radio, camcorders, PDAs and can be used on Power Tools as well.
