MCX L Series - Innovative solution for low power sensing with continuous monitoring
The MCX L Series microcontrollers are built for battery powered industrial and IoT systems where sensing never stops. They are designed to keep collecting and analysing data continuously, while minimising the energy impact on the overall system.
Instead of relying on the main processor, MCX L separates sensing and processing. This allows data capture, preprocessing and decision making to run independently in an ultra-low power domain, only engaging the high-performance core when needed.
This approach supports always on operation, extends battery life and enables smaller, more efficient edge designs for applications such as smart meters, industrial sensor nodes and residential monitoring systems.
Security and software enablement are built in, with EdgeLock and the MCUXpresso ecosystem simplifying secure deployment and accelerating development.
