TE Connectivity I From Furrow to Cloud: Bringing Agricultural Vehicle High Speed Architecture into the Future

Online, On Demand

Live Presentation Date: 22 November, 2024

As the world sees an increase in more efficient, sustainable and productive agricultural systems, the need for more complex electrical component designs within agricultural vehicles is on the rise. Join two experts from TE Connectivity to delve into the trend of smart agriculture from the vehicle perspective. Learn about your component options for on-vehicle networks and wireless transmission, plus the challenges to consider in this uniquely harsh environment.

Overview

An increase in more efficient, sustainable and productive agricultural systems is driving the need for more complex electrical component designs within agricultural vehicles to enable high speed data transmission. Many of the solutions on the market today are built to enable autonomous and "smart" applications within passenger vehicles. But what happens when you need the same capabilities within vehicles that are much larger and that operate in much more rugged environments?

Join two connectivity and wireless experts from TE Connectivity to delve into the trend of smart agriculture from the vehicle perspective. From furrow to cloud, learn about your component options for on-vehicle networks and wireless transmission, plus the pitfalls to consider as we share examples of implementing high speed data and antenna technology into agricultural vehicles.

Key Takeaways

  • Understand the future trends and vehicle functionalities of smart agriculture
  • Navigate the unique requirements for electrical connections within agricultural vehicles and the antenna connections to the cloud
  • Discover how new innovations in connectors and antennas can pave a smoother path for smarter agriculture
