TE Connectivity's AMP MCP connector system utilizes robust AMP MCP receptacle terminals (1.5mm to 9.5 mm) that mate with Timer tab terminals (1.5mm to 9.5 mm, tab thickness 0.6mm to 1.2 mm). By separating electrical and mechanical functions, the system delivers high current capacity, excellent reliability, and strong vibration resistance. Designed for demanding automotive environments, it supports sealed and unsealed wireto-wire, wire-to-board, and wire-to-device applications, including high-voltage and high-vibration use cases. A broad portfolio of connectors, housings, and PCB headers - including hybrid designs compatible with TE systems such as MCON and MQS - enables flexible signal and power integration. Automotive-grade PCB headers support low- to medium-power applications across passenger, commercial, and off-highway vehicles. Advanced Press-Fit and solder-free technologies, pre-verified terminals, and comprehensive tooling enable efficient, reliable manufacturing while reducing risk and improving system performance.
