KYOCERA AVX 6780-000 series IP20 T1 industrial SPE connectors

As the industrial Ethernet market continues to grow, there is an increasing demand for smaller, faster connectors. Consequently, Single Pair Ethernet has emerged as a key topic of discussion. SPE describes transmitting Ethernet over only one pair of twisted copper wires. In addition to Ethernet data transmission, SPE enables simultaneous power supply to terminal devices via PoDL (Power over Data Line). Previously, two pairs were required for Fast Ethernet (100MB) and four pairs for Gigabit Ethernet. SPE not only saves space and weight with fewer wires, but also transmits 1 GBit/s up to 40 meters. KYOCERA AVX is part of the SPE industrial partner network and will offer SPE products that meet customer and market needs while adhering to IEC 63171-6 and IEEE 802.3 standards.
