Bourns expansion of the analog current sensor
Bourns announces SSA-2 series
In line with our commitment to provide products with innovative designs, superior quality and exceptional value, the Bourns sensors and controls product line is proud to announce the expansion of the SSA-2 series analog current sensor. This new extension offers the option to be assembled with AEC-Q200 compliant components.
The SSA-2 series delivers ±0.2% initial accuracy, 300kHz bandwidth, and 1.6μs reaction time. These analog current sensors are immune to stray magnetic fields, require no calibration, and provide precise AC/DC measurements with low noise. Compared to hall effect technology, they offer greater stability, wider bandwidth, and easier integration.
This series is well-suited for a wide variety of battery-related current sensing applications including large-scale energy storage banks, renewable energy generation infrastructure, industrial motor drives, building automation systems and fuel cells.
