Bourns announces SM91270AL and SM91271AL series

Bourns-SM91270AL-And-SM91271AL-Series-EN-Image

Bourns magnetics product line is pleased to introduce the model SM91270AL and SM91271AL LLC planar transformers for gate driver applications.

These new transformers feature a planar structure (EE8.5 platform) to minimize size while providing high isolation, high efficiency and good EMI performance.

The model SM91270AL and SM91271AL planar transformers were developed for use with the TI Model UCC25800 and MPS Model MPQ18913 for LLC applications, and the Maxim model MAX25256 for full bridge applications. Bourns’ fully automated manufacturing process helps ensures high quality and cost-effectiveness for these low-profile parts (below 3.5mm height above the PCB) with a no base design structure. The models offer a working voltage of up to 850VDC for reinforced insulation, a Hi-Pot isolation voltage of up to 6000 VDC and an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. They provide a maximum output power of up to 5.4W.
