Bourns-Expansion-MF-LSMF-Series-EN-Image

The Bourns multifuse product line is excited to introduce the expansion of its MF-LSMF series high power surface mount Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) resettable fuses. The latest additions broaden the hold current (Ihold) ranges up to 7.0A and increase the maximum voltage (Vmax) to 72VDC.

The most recent lineup within the Bourns® MF-LSMF Series employs Bourns’ innovative freeXpansion™ design, elevating the performance of the resettable fuse by incorporating higher hold currents, elevated voltages, enhanced resistance stability, and more compact footprints. These advances cater to various applications, primarily serving as safeguards for low DC voltage ports in USB, IEEE 1394, Powered ethernet IEEE 802.3af ports, low-voltage telecom equipment, industrial control, security systems and portable electronics. These components are designed to shield against both overcurrent and overtemperature events within the specified parameters of the products.
