Bourns CWM-Q series automotive grade wide terminal thick film resistor
Bourns announces CWM-Q series automotive grade wide terminal thick film resistors
Bourns is pleased to announce the release of the new CWM-Q series, a new line of automotive grade wide terminal thick film resistors designed for high power density and robust performance in demanding applications.
The Bourns® CWM-Q series is available in compact 0612 and 1225 case sizes, offering power ratings up to 2W and resistance values ranging from 1Ω to 1MΩ. Featuring a wide terminal design for improved thermal dissipation, these resistors are well-suited for space-constrained applications requiring high electrical and mechanical stability, such as automotive ECUs, LED lighting modules, and power management systems. All models are qualified to AEC-Q200 standards to meet the stringent reliability requirements of automotive grade components.
Constructed with RoHS-compliant* materials and designed for compatibility with standard reflow soldering processes, the CWM-Q Series ensures consistent performance across a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +155°C. The series has demonstrated strong endurance under accelerated stress conditions, including thermal cycling, high temperature exposure, moisture resistance, and mechanical shock. These attributes make the CWM-Q series an ideal choice for integration into automotive electronics, industrial control systems, and other high-reliability power applications.
