Abracon antennas optimised for IoT protocols

Abracon has launched a comprehensive line of antennas optimised specifically for the demands of emerging IoT applications.

This product line features high gain antennas that minimise power consumption, maximise RF link range and save design space. Compact chip antennas with low profiles, like 0.6mm to 1.6mm, are specifically designed for wireless modules, small wearables or other space constraint applications. The unique chip antenna offerings include the ACAG0301-1575-T for GPS/GLONASS, the ACAG0301-24505500-T for dual 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi and BLE, and the super-IoT ACAG0301-15752450-T that offers high gain while supporting multiple common standards (Wi-Fi, BLE, GPS) with a single component.

Patch antennas with linear or right hand polarisation (RHCP) offer excellent gain for Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, Sigfox, GNSS (GPS/GLONASS) and RFID applications. Options like the ARRKP series include a ground plane and connector, simplifying the design work and reducing the need for tuning. The collection also includes high precision stacked patch antennas, like the APAKM3513-SGL2, that allow flexibility of antenna orientation for receiving satellite signal.

External antennas in various form factors are available to solve a variety of challenges, including solutions with MIMO capability, IP67 ratings, and multi-protocol functionality. For example, support Wi-Fi, BLE and GPS/GLONASS requirements with the AEACBK046014-C2WG active external antenna with 20dB integrated LNA. The AEACAC198013-S698 is a high gain 4G/LTE external whip antenna designed for broadband applications.
