3M 8ES4 & 8ES8 Series

SlimLine twin axial cable assemblies

The 3M™ SlimLine Twin Axial Cable Assemblies (SFF-8654) are ideal for PCIe (85 ohm) applications. The new cable assemblies utilize 3M’s ultra-low profile, high speed, high signal density 3M™ Twin Axial Cable SL8800 Series. The new SlimLine cable assemblies are ideal for space constrained systems since the unique cable  ribbon construction enables folding and bending without adversely impacting performance. The ribbon's foldability provides more freedom to design cable assemblies optimized to maximize system density, streamline system assembly and enhance airflow. Moreover, its low-profile enables assemblies to be routed through narrow openings between server components (such as fans, memory modules or heatsinks). The high-performance twinax cable construction provides excellent transmission properties, enabling a designer to effectively create PCIe connections inside a chassis.

3M proudly presented The 3M™ SlimLine Twin Axial Cable Assemblies (SFF-8654) series wihich are ideal for PCIe (85 ohm) applications.
