Harwin Names Avnet Abacus EMEA Distributor of the Year in Annual Awards Announcement

Avnet’s Riccardo Santarelli also announced as winner of 5-Star Prize

Brussels, Belgium, 10th April, 2025: Harwin has announced the winners of its annual Distributor of the Year Award, with Avnet Abacus taking both EMEA categories. The company was announced as Distributor of the Year and its Interconnect Technical Specialist, Riccardo Santarelli, taking home the 5-Star Award, which highlights an exceptional individual and their direct contribution to Harwin's success.

The Distributor of the Year Award is based on an analysis of six KPIs, including sales growth, bookings and billings, new designs and the ease of doing business with the distributor.

In awarding the prize, Steve Miller, Harwin’s EMEA Head of Distribution Sales highlighted the “great partnership…at all levels” as well as Avnet’s local relationships, saying: “We are very confident that we will continue our shared success story and will become even better in the future.”

In giving the 5-Star Award, Harwin highlighted Mr. Santarelli's “invaluable contribution” for Harwin “both in terms of growth and its reputation” as well as his “collaborative approach”.

In awarding this category Mr. Miller said: “Riccardo has distinguished himself with an exceptional knowledge of key customers and played a pivotal role in field sales activities throughout Italy.”
