Collaborative relationship has enabled Avnet Abacus to achieve top sales growth on Panasonic Industry Europe product line
Poing, Germany, 24 November, 2017: Avnet Abacus, one of Europe’s leading interconnect, passive, electro-mechanical and power distributors and a regional business unit of Avnet (NYSE: AVT), has been recognised as Broadline Distributor of the Year 2017 in Panasonic Industry Europe’s annual distribution awards.
The award follows a highly successful 12 months of business development, during which Avnet Abacus substantially outperformed the distribution network in billings growth, and achieved a record increase in bookings for the Panasonic product line. Significant advances in demand creation metrics and project-related revenue were also attained throughout the year.
