Micro Crystal has announced three new real time clock modules; the RV-3028-C7, RV-3129-C3 and RV3149-C3 series

Micro Crystal has announced three new real time clock modules; the RV-3028-C7, RV-3129-C3 and RV3149-C3 series. The RV-3028-C7 sets the bar for low power consumption with 40nA at 3V. It features battery switch over and a factory calibrated time accuracy of ±1 ppm at 25°C. The RV3128-C3 and RV3149-C3 feature temperature compensation, and while the former comes with an I2C interface the latter comes with an SPI interface. Both feature contacts with side castellations that allow standard optical post soldering inspection for verification.
