KYOCERA AVX W-Family Antennas

KYOCERA AVX’ W-Family antennas include an embedded Wi-Fi Antenna design. There are 3 families: W1, W2 and W3. They can be a PCB or FPC antenna according to the family. Different connectors (U.FL, W.FL, MHF4L) and cable lengths are available. 

W1 family is integrating a single-band Wi-Fi antenna at 2.4 GHz on FPC and PCB solutions. 

W2 family is a Wi-Fi 6E antenna at 5 and 6 GHz and exists in FPC and PCB solutions. 

W3 Family is an embedded Wi-Fi 6E or Dual-band (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz) Wi-Fi Antenna in FPC and PCB style solutions with a possible side cable configuration.  

Alternatively, a PCB with foam on the back side is also offered to minimize the detuning of the antenna on different surfaces, allowing miniaturized designs and superior signal sensitivity.
