HIROSE DF63W series 3.96 mm pitch waterproof wire-to-wire connectors
The DF63W connector range consists of cable mount, female crimp sockets and in-line crimp plugs that can handle up to 14A max current rating.
The slim, smooth connector outline is contoured to prevent the connector from being trapped in small areas during the wiring process. All metal parts are completely covered.
The water resistant structure is IP67 rated and simplified to ensure that the cable assembly process is fast and user friendly. The water resistant seals are pre-assembled to allow the crimped wire to be inserted directly into the housing without additional tooling.
Secure locking is guaranteed by the robust lock that gives a clear tactile click when mated. This confirms the connector is fully engaged guaranteeing complete electrical and mechanical connection. The lock is on the centre of the housing to avoid uneven locking and cable entanglement which is common with side locks.
Two versions exist with diferent seal diameters to allow different variety of cable sizes. Furthermore guide keys are available to prevent incorrect mating.
