100W USB PD Battery Charger based on Renesas Solution
This is a USB PD (Power Delivery) consumer platform that charges batteries with power supplied via a USB Type-C port at up to 100W. This platform supports 2 to 4-cell batteries and up to 12A. It can also draw power from batteries. The typical battery spec (number of cells, charging current limit) can be set by a simple resistor easily. It also supports discharge of up to 60W USB Type-C output from the battery. This is a complete and highly efficient yet simple USB PD platform.
