The Bourns® Model 1440 Series are DC power Surge Protective Devices designed for DC-side protection of photovoltaic systems against damage from surges caused by lightning and other electrical sources, up to rated limits, while operating up to 1500VDC. The high energy MOV technology design with an Advanced Thermal Disconnector (TD+) provides an enhanced level of protection against the effects of direct or indirect lightning.
