Push-Pull Transformers PTPC & PTPA

The YAGEO Group PTPA family is a range of automotive grade push pull transformers that are design to deliver several watts of power over a high voltage differential insulation barrier. In a Battery Management System, they are ideally suited to power the diagnostic IC that monitor cell voltages on the high voltage side, from a low voltage side power source. The family is compatible with a wide range of push-pull drivers, such as the TI SN650x family. Solutions are available with up to 5.5KV isolation, with safety certifications according to the requirements of standards such as IEC61558-1/IEC62368-1/UL60950-1, for up to reinforced insulation. For applications with floating ground planes that see large voltage differentials, there are series with voltage ratings up to 1500Vpk. Each series comes with a wide range of turns ratios for a desired output voltage.
