Vishay announces IHLP® commercial inductors high temperature (+155 °C) series

Vishay-IHLP-Commercial-Inductors-High-Temperature-155-C-Series-EN-Image

Vishay Intertechnology's commercial IHLP® low profile, high current inductor that is the industry’s first composite inductor in the 19mm by 19mm by 7mm 7575 case size.

  • Offers up to 30% lower DCR and up to 35% higher current ratings than devices in the 6767 case size, at a 50% lower cost than devices in the 8787 case
  • Optimized for energy storage in DC-DC converters up to 2MHz and high current filtering applications up to the SRF of the inductor
  • Packaged in a 100% lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction that reduces buzz noise to ultra low levels
  • High resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock

Features

  • High temperature rating, up to +155 °C
  • Shielded construction
  • Excellent DC-DC energy storage up to 1MHz to 2MHz. Filter  inductor  applications  up  the  SRF (see standard electrical specifications table)
  • Lowest DCR/μH, in this package size
  • Handles  high  transient  current  spikes  without saturation
  • Ultra low buzz noise, due to composite construction

Applications

  • Notebook/desktop/server applications
  • High current PoL converters
  • Low profile, high current power supplies
  • Battery powered devices
  • DC-DC converters in distributed power systems
  • DC-DC converter for Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)
