TE Connectivity (TE)`s new power key 5.0SMT connectors offer an efficient solution for manufacturers using automated assembly to build compact PCB systems. The surface mount technology (SMT) header supports automated pick-and-place assembly processes, while the low mating height (21mm) allows for design flexibility. All power key 5.0SMT headers support PCB potting for water exposed applications and are available in multiple color and keying options to help prevent mis-mating. An optional terminal position assurance (TPA) device is available for 4 and 6 position versions to provide greater contact reliability.
