TE Connectivity’s (TE) new AMP Micro CT connectors and cable assemblies can provide an economical wire routing solution for power or signal needs, optimizing printed circuit board space savings, efficiency improvements and superior performance.

 

Features

  • Smaller footprint now available. The new 1.2mm centerline pitch is smaller option providing a space-saving design solution using the same wire sizes in a smaller size connector
  • Efficiency optimizations provide mistake-proof features tactile feedback (click feeling) with easy mating force which can improve cycle times by allowing less chance for mating errors. The new lead-in guide design can protect contacts and can prevent deformation
  • Customer feedback implemented in new designExpansive range of configurations. From 2 to 25 positions (all sizes available)
  • From 26AWG to 28 AWG available allowing larger wire sizes in smaller size connector. From 1AMPs to 2 AMPs (wire gage dependent). Larger insulation outside diameter (0.88mm)
  • Provides superior performance of up to 2AMPs in harness production. Insulation displacement connection (IDC) termination-DECAM equipment-compatible: relieving customers of buying extensive amounts of tooling equipment to use this product.
  • Helps provide efficiency savings from existing application tooling
