TE Connectivity`s (TE) ALR 11000 photocell is a digital photocell designed for streetlighting. The ALR 11000 photocell while having the functionality of a simple on/off photocell also has the capability to dim the light source during preset hours of the dark period which helps reducing energy consumption and utility spend. ALR 11000 photocell will fit into the Zhaga-D4i ecosystem, the new standard in smart cities. Working as a standalone control device or in combination with a Zhaga-D4i motion sensor. The device monitors ambient light levels to switch the driver’s output on, off and dim using the D4i protocol. The photocell sensor is a pluggable device, with the standard Zhaga Book 18 interface.
