TDK TAD2143 360 °C angle sensor
TDK announces TAD2143 360 °C angle sensor
TAD2143 is a TMR angle sensor which allows absolute angle measurement up to 360°. Based on the Tunnel Magneto-Resis- tance (TMR) effect, it offers high sensitivity and best angle accuracy needed for de- manding industrial applications. The internal digital signal processing allows outstanding angular measurement performance. Stabil- ity in a wide range of temperature and mag- netic field variations is also achieved.
The sensor is pre-calibrated at the fac- tory and additionally offers in-application calibration modes. The “Static Compensa- tion” targets the elimination of angle errors caused by mechanical misalignment, tilt- ing between magnet and sensors. These correction parameters are programmed at EOL. After few 360° rotations, TAD2143 will achieve excellent angle accuracy by using the “Dynamic Compensation“ mechanism, which eliminates magnetic, temperature, and life-time effects.
TAD2143 supports various digital output interfaces such as UVW (Hall Switch Mode), ABZ/ABI (Encoder mode), PWM and SPI.
Key advantages of TAD2143 is the possibili- ty to utilize two different outputs at the same time. Please see the different part number s and combinations.
