TDK and Renesas partnership enable seamless development of system solutions and quick time to market, with TDK sensors, Renesas MCUs and the QuickConnect platform.

The QCIoT-ICM42688P PMOD board is a MEMS sensor breakout board that consists of TDK's ICM-42688-P IMU and can be connected to any Renesas MCU board available on the QuickConnect platform. This enables users to rapidly build, develop and prototype any system solution with TDK sensors and Renesas RAxx MCU platforms.

Renesas QuickConnect is a cloud-based platform that enables users to graphically build production-ready firmware within few minutes. This integrates TDK’s MEMS sensors with multiple Renesas MCUs, for developing and testing various Industrial and IoT applications. The MEMS sensors drivers are already integrated with the QuickConnect platform.

The ICM-42688-P is the lowest noise 6-axis MEMS MotionTracking device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer. It has a configurable host interface that supports I3C℠, I²C, and SPI serial communication. It features a 2kB FIFO and 2 programmable interrupts with ultra-low-power wake-on-motion support to minimize system power consumption.
