Nichicon announces GYG Series Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

The Nichicon GYG Series represents the latest generation of conductive polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, designed for high reliability and superior performance in demanding applications such as automotive electronics, robotics, smart homes, and industrial automation. By combining conductive polymer and liquid electrolyte technologies, the GYG series achieves low ESR, high ripple current capability, and excellent heat resistance, making it ideal for power circuits requiring stability and miniaturization.

  • High Voltage Range: 400V to 450V
  • Capacitance Range: 47µF to 200µF
  • Temperature Range: -40°C to +105°C
  • Endurance: 5,000 hours at 105°C with rated ripple current
  • Ripple Current Capability: Up to approx. 104 mA rms
  • Capacitance Tolerance: ±20% at 120 Hz, 20°C
  • Compliance: RoHS directive
  • Construction: Radial lead type with PET sleeve
