KOA Corporation Wide Terminal Thick Film Resistors provide key advantages over standard footprints. These resistors feature high reliability and enhanced terminal strengths essential in power designs. These resistors come with enhanced heat dissipation via the solder connections and save board space. The larger terminals also improve terminal strength, and the closer spacing between the terminals lessens expansion stress. The hotspot reduction is achieved by designing the inner resistive pattern. These resistors are optimized for inner resistive pattern design to reduce hotspots, resulting in greater efficiency and reliability compared to standard flat chip resistors.
