KEMET X8G series high temperature MLCCs
KEMET announces X8G series high temperature MLCCs
KEMET is pleased to announce the addition of X8G high temperature dielectric to our Class I (SMD MLCC) portfolio. KEMET’s X8G dielectric features a +150°C maximum operating temperature, offering the latest in high temperature dielectric technology and reliability for extreme temperature applications and under the hood applications. X8G exhibits no change in capacitance with respect to voltage and boasts a minimal change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. X8G dielectric capacitors were developed for critical applications where reliability and capacitance stability at higher operating temperatures are a concern. In addition to commercial grade, automotive grade devices are available and meet Automotive Electronics Council’s AEC-Q200 qualification requirements. Also available with flexible termination technology which inhibits the transfer of board stress to the rigid ceramic body, therefore mitigating flex cracks which can result in low IR or short circuit failures.
