KEMET R4Y series capacitors

The R4Y is constructed of metallized polypropylene film, encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin, in a box of material meeting the requirements of UL 94V–0. Automotive grade devices meet the demanding automotive electronics council's AEC–Q200 qualification requirements.

Applications

• For use in electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression filter in "line-to-ground" applications, requiring Y1 safety classification.
• Suitable for use in situations where failure of the capacitor could lead to danger of electric shock.
