ZG05HV Series High-Voltage Wire-to-Board Connector

HIROSE Electric Co. Ltd, a world-class manufacturer of connectors, has introduced the ZG05HV series of Wire-to-Board connectors, including for High–Voltage automotive applications.  
 With patented innovative terminal design and housing materials, the ZG05HV series is suitable and reliable in harsh functional environments. It can withstand operating temperatures -40 to +125 °C, which satisfies severe automotive requirements that allow the connector to be placed near engine compartments. The ZG05HV consists of a double-layered spring which has a 3-point contact design that increases contact engagement and ensures stability in the contact area to withstand high vibration conditions.  
 
Due to its unique housing design, in reference to norm IEC 60664, Pollution degree 2 and at an altitude 5000 m, the ZG05HV can support high-voltages, withstanding voltages up to 3,000V AC. The housing is designed with a suitable creepage and spatial distance between contacts, allowing it to withstand high rated voltages while remaining compact.  
 
IP2X design features, a depth of the ZG05HV that provides electric shock protection, preventing inserting a finger and enhancing assembly safety.  
 
The female and male housing are available in black, orange, and dark grey. In addition, there are two key coding types, i.e. standard version and Code A, which can be used for daisy chain applications.
