HVH-280 Series Waterproof Heat Resistance Robust Power Connectors

HVH-280 Series, Waterproof, Low Profile, Up to 120°C Heat Resistance, Robust, Power Connectors  
 
The HVH-280 series are low-profile connectors with high vibration resistance that enables a high current capacity of 30 A. Waterproof and non-waterproof versions are available.  
 
This series is designed with heat-resistant materials to withstand severe temperature environments. The waterproof version can withstand temperatures up to 120°C, satisfying severe automotive requirements. Due to its IPX9K waterproof resistance, this series is also suitable for harsh high-pressure washing environments, making the connector compliant with JIS D 5020.  
 
Along with heat resistance, the HVH-280 series includes features that allow reliable contact insertion and provide strong vibration resistance. The waterproof version comes with a CPA (Connector Position Assurance), a half-fit prevention mechanism that makes incorrect mating / unmating of the connector impossible. s 
 
The series is designed with safety in mind featuring a mating detection circuit that ensures worker safety. The connector is designed so that no current flows to the power terminal unless the detection circuit’s signal terminal contacts it (interlock mechanism) to prevent electric shocks. Additionally, the connector has IPXXB finger protection, which complies with the JIS C0920.  
 
The HVH-280 has reinforced EMI prevention with its innovative design, including a metal shield that transmits noise to the panel, creating effective shielding.
