Flex Power Modules BMR685 1,300W half brick DC-DC converter

With telecoms infrastructure shifting to 5G, the RFPA is becoming increasingly power-hungry, and so for these RF Power Amplifier applications, new series of highly efficient DC-DC converters in a compact package is available. The BMR685 is the first digital DC-DC converter for radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers in the half-brick form factor that can provide a continuous output power of up to 1,300W.

Ideal for both LDMOS and gallium nitride (GaN) applications needing a 50V rail, the new converter has an output voltage range of 25V to 55V, and can deliver up to 26A of output current. Its input voltage range is 36V to 75V, and isolation between input and output is 2,250V.
