Fastron 1616FP series wirewound SMD choke
Fastron announces 1616FP series wirewound SMD choke
Fastron introduces the new 1616FP wirewound SMD choke, designed for power applications in a compact 1616 package size (4.2mm x 4.2mm x 1.88mm). This inductor is ideal for small power conversion circuits, such as those in handheld systems, portable devices and LED lighting applications.
The 1616FP features a vertical core and a low-profile design with a maximum heigth of just 1.88mm, making it perfect for applications requiring space-saving components. Unlike its counterpart, the 1616FPS, the 1616FP does not include shielding.
This component utilizes enamelled copper wire, wound around a ferrite core. Inductance values range from 1µH to 100µH, with DCR values ranging from 50mΩ to 2.35Ω. The saturation current varies from 0.40A to 3.85A, and the rated current ranges from 0.35A to 2.8A.
The 1616FP is shipped in reel form for easy pick-and-place assembly. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C (including self-heating). This inductor is fully compatible with lead-free soldering, RoHS compliant, and AEC-Q200 qualified.
