Bourns automotive grade high current shielded power inductors
Bourns announces SRP7028AA, SRP7050AA and SRP1038AA series automotive grade high current shielded power inductors
Bourns has introduced the model SRP7028AA, SRP7050AA and SRP1038AA automotive grade high current shielded power inductor series that are designed to meet today’s high current density and high temperature requirements of various electronic applications. These inductor series are manufactured with a metal alloy powder core featuring low DC resistance, high heating / saturation current, low buzz noise, excellent temperature stability and shielded construction for low magnetic field radiation.
A few years ago, Bourns released a similar design, the model SRP7028A, SRP7050TA and SRP1038A high current shielded power inductor series manufactured with a carbonyl iron powder core. Compared to the previous design, the new model SRP7028AA, SRP7050AA and SRP1038AA series feature lower DCR, higher Irms current and a more robust core structure. The model SRP7028A, SRP7050TA and SRP1038A series also have a higher saturation current rating.
The model SRP7028AA, SRP7050AA and SRP1038AA are AEC-Q200 compliant with an operating temperature range from -55 to +155 °C and are well suited for DC-DC converters and power supplies in consumer, industrial, and telecom electronics applications in which higher inductor reliability may be required.
