Bourns announces Riedon™ SSD-500A series shunt sensor
In line with our commitment to provide products with innovative designs, superior quality and exceptional value, Bourns sensors and controls announces the release of the Riedon™ model SSD-500A series Shunt sensor – Digital by Bourns with 500 Amps nominal current and CANbus or RS-485/MODBUS Interface. This product extension release supplements the Model SSD-100A Series, released in June, 2024.
The Model SSD-500A series includes innovatively designed digital DC shunt-based current sensors that offer superior accuracy, stability, and electrical isolation in certain harsh industrial environments.
This product series is well-suited for a wide variety of battery-related current sensing applications including large-scale energy storage banks, renewable energy generation infrastructure, industrial motor drives, building automation systems and EV charging stations.
