Bourns MF-MSMF series high power PPTC resettable fuses

The Bourns is excited to introduce the expansion of its MF-MSMF series high power surface mount Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) resettable fuses. The latest additions broaden the hold current (Ihold) ranges up to 2.6A and increase the maximum voltage (Vmax) to 60VDC. This most recent lineup within the MF-MSMF series employs Bourns’ innovative freeXpansion™ design, elevating the performance of the resettable fuses by incorporating higher hold currents, elevated voltages, enhanced resistance stability, and more compact footprints.

These advances cater to various applications, primarily serving as safeguards for low DC voltage ports in USB, HDMI, HDTV, PC, laptop computers, data centers, and portable consumer products. These components are designed to shield against both overcurrent and overtemperature events within the specified parameters of the products.
