Bourns HVMA03F4A-LP8S automotive grade 2W gate driver transformer

Bourns custom magnetics product line is introducing the model HVMA03F4A-LP8S gate driver transformer. This transformer is AEC-Q200 compliant and automotive grade.

The model HVMA03F4A-LP8S transformer is designed with 8mm creepage distance for an 800V working voltage that is ideal for new EV and Green energy applications that require high isolation voltage. Typical applications include transistor gate drive power, battery management circuit powering, and isolated power across separate voltage systems. This transformer has a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. The high creepage, SMT package has a unique small footprint for such a large working voltage.

This model is designed for a switching frequency of 400kHz and will provide an output power of 2W. It can be used with many gate driver controller ICs that have either fixed or variable frequency and can be customized for other output voltages and applications.
