Bourns is pleased to announce the release of eleven new Multifuse® PPTC resettable fuse design kits:

These new design kits contain a selection of automotive grade, high temperature models in 0603 to 3425 footprint sizes, a selection of 72VDC radial MF-RX series and a selection of standard SMD series in 0603 to 2920 footprint sizes to provide design engineers with a variety of overcurrent protection solutions across a range of rated currents and working temperatures for quick-turn prototype testing. These eleven new design kits will further expand Bourns’ offering of Multifuse® PPTC resettable fuse design kits.
Bourns continues to broaden its portfolio of Multifuse® PPTC resettable fuses to address the growing need for effective overcurrent protection in a variety of applications including transportation, telecom and networking equipment, computing and server storage, portable memory, handheld electronics and gaming systems, smart appliances, battery charging and power management, robotics and industrial automation. Bourns® Multifuse® PPTC resettable fuses are RoHS compliant*, halogen-free** (for selected series) and UL/CSA/TÜV recognized.

** Bourns considers a product to be “halogen-free” if (a) the Bromine (Br) content is 900 ppm or less; (b) the Chlorine (Cl) content is 900 ppm or less; and (c) the total Bromine (Br) and Chlorine (Cl) content is 1500 ppm or less
