Bourns announces CRT-A series automotive grade thin film precision chip resistors

Bourns is pleased to announce the release of the model CRT-A series AEC-Q200 compliant, automotive grade thin film precision chip resistors.

The model CRT-A series is available in 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206 sizes, supporting lower tolerances from ±0.1% to ±1%, with a wide TCR range from ±50 PPM/°C to ±10 PPM/°C.

This series is suitable for applications requiring a small package size with accurate resistance values, TCRs and resistance tolerances, such as mobile phones, SD cards, DDR memory modules, and automotive dash cameras, radios, etc.

The resistance range from 10Ω to 1MΩ and TCR down to ±10 PPM/°C is equivalent to the supported resistance range of existing Bourns® thick film resistors, but the model CRT-A series provides higher resistance tolerance accuracy compared to thick film resistors. The model CRT-A series is a thin film automotive grade chip resistor delivering enhanced signal quality in an SMD package – an upgraded version of the CRT series which can be designed into automotive applications.
