Bourns announce Model CD-MMBL110S

Bourns is pleased to announce the release of the model CD-MMBL110S surface mount bridge rectifier diode designed for converting alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) in power applications with space limitations and low profile requirements. The new model provides many benefits, including a much smaller footprint compared to a conventional gull-wing package, a flat no-leads package construction, superior coplanarity, improved solder joints, and the virtual elimination of short circuit conditions during manufacturing. It is suitable for a universal wall socket with USB plug design.

Features

  • 1000V/1A rating
  • Tiny DFN3538 package (3.5mm x 3.8 mm)
  • Low profile (1.15mm)
  • High thermal dissipation
  • RoHS compliant* and halogen free**

Applications

  • USB wall sockets
  • AC/DC power supplies
  • Battery chargers
  • Medical equipment (low/medium risk)***
