Bourns 2027-A series AEC-Q200 compliant GDT

Bourns is pleased to announce the addition of a new Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) series to the successful line of Bourns® AEC-Q200 compliant components. The model 2027-A series has been evaluated under the stringent AEC-Q200 standard, expanding Bourns’ legacy of quality, innovation, and design in GDT overvoltage surge arrestors.

Market demands relating to AEC-Q200 compliance focus on ensuring the reliability, durability, regulatory compliance, electrical performance, and innovation capability of electronic components used in certain harsh environmental applications. In addition, the stringent testing required by this standard ensures that this new series will be a great fit for other demanding applications like outdoor photovoltaic installation surge protection.

The new model 2027-A series is RoHS compliant* and UL recognized.
