Amphenol has developed a pair of 400pos 0.635mm COM- HPC which support 5mm and 10mm stack heights.

COM-HPC is a PICMG sponsored open standard for a family of high performance computer modules targeting the embedded computer space. We have developed a pair of 400pos 0.635mm COM-HPC which support 5mm and 10mm stack heights. These connectors are suitable for a wide range of high reliability applications and demanding environments. This pair of connectors can support up to PCIe Gen5 32Gb/s SI performance.

COM-HPC is specifically designed to address the ever-increasing performance demands and bandwidth needs of all the new and upcoming edge and embedded server applications.

Compression connectors

Amphenol communications solutions offers compression-type surface mount connectors to provide power and signal connection between either two PCB modules or one PCB and an electrical module. The single- piece small footprint solution brings cost and space savings to the design of smaller and more economical consumer electronic devices.

We offer solutions with scalable positions, contact pitch sizes, and working heights with a choice of single or double row adds to design flexibility. And, these connectors can withstand up to 50G shock with no disruption to electrical connectivity when subject to frequent shock and vibration.

For electrical performance, it features a maximum current rating of lA per contact, voltage rating at 250VAC, and low-level contact resistance of less than 20m0 max.

This product range supports storage, consumer, and communication application. Besides adopting the compression connectors in the HDD application, we have also designed compression connectors for used In-Flight internet systems, door detection in server platforms, Cartridge board for Inkjet printers, and any other market needs.
