ALPS ALPINE announces HSPPAD147A series digital pressure and temperature sensor

ALPS ALPINE’s HSPPAD147A is a compact 3.1mm x 3.1mm x 2.6mm digital interface waterproof pressure sensor designed for barometer system and water depth measurement system. The pressure is detected by MEMS sensor element using piezo resistive bridge circuit formed on the silicon diaphragm. The sensor element is connected to the ASIC for signal conditioning. The ASIC has 17-bit ADC and temperature compensation capability. In addition to the compensation, this product supports averaging and filtering for lower noise, and FIFO function. The interconnectivity is digital I2C interface.

  • Temperature accuracy: ±1.0°C (-20/+60°C)
    • Supply Voltage from 1.7V to 3.6V (typical 1.8V)

    • Package small LGA package: 3.1mm x 3.1mm x 2.6mm
    • Digital interface I2C
    • Current consumption 1.8uA (low power setting)
    • Noise RMS 0.006kPa (high resolution setting)
    • Sampling rate 200Hz max (continuous mode)
    • ESD robustness
    • Excellent chlorine durability
    • Lead free, RoHS instruction and halogen-free conforming
