Aimtec AM2DG-NZ series 2W DC-DC converters for IGBT drivers

Aimtec has introduced the AM2DG-NZ series. A high-performance power supply unit which offer a dual output channel that can power IGBT gate drivers.

The AM2DG-NZ can accept a conventional input of 12VDC and provide dual output voltages of +15 and -8V that can power the gate drivers. With an extremely wide operating temperature from -40°C to +105°C, this series offers a reliable power source for the IGBT drivers or inverters in high ambient temperature environments. The tested I/O isolation of up to 3,500VAC gives the system great withstand voltage protection.

Additionally, this series offers a compact SIP7 package that can save the circuit designer’s PCB board space. With continuous short-circuit protection and a high MTBF of 3,500,000hrs, the AM2DG-NZ is suitable for grid power, EV charging station, instrumentation, PV inverter, industrial motor driver, IGBT gate driver, and AGV applications
