EPCOS SIMID 0805-F series SMD inductors

The new SIMID 0805-F series of EPCOS wire wound SMD inductors was developed especially for automotive applications such as ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems).

Measuring just 2.0 x 1.7 x 1.4 mm3 and with inductance range from 2.7 nH up to 820 nH, the 0805-F3 series (ordering code B82498F3*001) is suitable for impedance matching, filtering and resonant circuit applications.

Thanks to optimised materials and high-precision winding technology the new inductors series features high Q factors as well as very high resonance frequencies. In addition, they are also available with a narrow inductance tolerance of only ±2% which makes the components predestined for applications requiring very low inductance drift. For example, because of its very small size and narrow tolerance the 220 nH ±2% type is an excellent choice as a discrete low-pass filter for data lines (e.g. Automotive Ethernet - 100BASE-T1) for camera systems on ADAS.
