LIC series lithium-ion capacitors

Tayio Yuden's lithium-ion capacitors feature an extremely large capacitance (about twice as large as conventional EDLCs), while pre-doping of anodes allows these capacitors to achieve a higher output voltage up to around 3.8V. Predoping also helps to stabilise electrode potential, meaning that li-ion capacitors have very little self-discharge.
