Panasonic EZPQ & EZPE Series

Metallised polypropylene film capacitors

Panasonic Industry Europe has launched the EZPQ and EZPE series of DC-link capacitors for power inverter and switching power supply applications. The series feature Panasonic’s unique patterned metallisation technology, which delivers long-term reliability as well as fail-safe functioning for demanding applications. The zinc metallic spray electrode formation as well as aluminium metallisation allows an increased resistance to humidity, and the casing has been formed with a vacuum process resulting in an even thickness with no air bubbles and eddies. Both the EZPQ and EZPE series capacitors have a long product life of minimum up to 100.000 hours, a wide operating temperature range of -40°C up to +85°C, are highly reliable, flame retardant and fully RoHS compliant. The devices also benefit from low ESR values as well as low losses.

Technical details of EZPE Series products include a rated voltage of 500VDC, 800VDC, 1100VDC, or 1300VDC, a rated capacitance of 10μF up to 110μF, and a capacitance tolerance of ±10% in 2-pin and 4-pin variants. The EZPE Series is also available in a low profile series at four voltage levels between 450VDC and 630 VDC, with a capacitance range from 10uF to 66uF.

Technical details of EZPQ Series components include a rated voltage of 250VAC, a rated capacitance of 12μF to 36μF with capacitance tolerance of ±10%.
