Aimtec's new AM50QB-NZ, AM75QB-NZ and AM100QB-NZ DC-DC converters with power ratings of 50W, 75W & 100W respectively, operate with a nominal input voltage of 110VDC in the range of 66-160VDC. The series are housed in a quarter brick package with the availability of an optional heatsink, increasing its operating performance in elevated temperatures. They have an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C with model specific derating.
These railway compliant series feature an I/O isolation of 3000VDC and numerous safety features such as continuous short circuit protection, over voltage and over current output protection, Input Under Voltage Lockout and over temperature protection. Furthermore, a remote On/Off Control, an output trim for voltage adjustment to -5% or +10% in both directions and a 5% Output voltage Sense compensation also come standard. In addition, the series are EN50155 compliant, designed to withstand high amounts of shocks and vibrations required for railway applications.
